Dozens of ϲ students traveled to Downtown Los Angeles on Saturday for  — the Archdiocese of Los Angeles’ annual event to promote the beauty and dignity of all human life. Pictures from the event are available in the slideshow at the bottom of this page.

The student contingent made the 70-mile trip to L.A. along with Director of Admissions Jon Daly and Admissions Counselor McCann. There they were joined by numerous TAC alumni. Michael Van Hecke (’86) can be seen in one of the photos above. And Jorge Moncada (’18) — now studying for the priesthood for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles — was on hand, wearing a “Seminarians for a Culture of Life” t-shirt. “What impresses me most about this is seeing the little kids, who are learning from their parents to speak up and protect us from something that’s such an evil,” he Angelus News. “They are the next generation, the pro-life generation, the ones who will defend life in the world.”

At least one member of the Board of Governors was also present. With his fellow Knights of Malta, Michael K. Grace was there distributing packets of sunscreen to walkers. The Archbishop of Los Angeles, the Most Rev. José H. Gomez, and the College’s regional auxiliary bishop, the Most Rev. Robert E. Barron,— both previous TAC Commencement speakers — were also part of the festivities.

“The students carried our banner high and did  a wonderful job of representing the College and helping out with the Walk,” says Mr. Daly. They even caught the attention of EWTN, which remarked, via its Twitter feed, “Wonderful to see young people standing up to defend the most vulnerable in our society!”
